Arch House Tullyhona
59 Marble Arch Road, Florencecourt, Enniskillen, County Fermanagh, Ireland
When I got to Arch House there was some kind of mix up. Someone who was supposed to have checked out didn’t, so there was no room. Rosemary Armstrong said not to worry. She called around while I had a good dinner.
Arch House has a restaurant. The vegetables were absolutely delicious.
After dinner, Rosemary’s husband had me follow him to where I would be spending the night. We drove up and down little roads to a large comfortable house.
Recently I connected with Rosemary Armstrong on Facebook. The house was on Arney Road, Florencecourt. Thanks Rosemary!
There was a helicopter. If any one knows where I was, I would appreciate knowing.
There was no one else there. No one at all. I was shown to my room, a large modern bedroom, with its own private bath. The living room had a wide screen TV. I had not seen a TV much bigger than a pack of cards since I got to Ireland. I flicked channels, mostly American reruns. Then I went to bed, read a little and slept.
The next day, after a day wandering around Lower Lough Erne, touring Belleek Pottery, shopping in Londonderry and exploring the grounds of Florence Court, I went back to Arch House.
This time they had a room. My canopy bed was very comfortable.
I would highly recommend Arch House Bed and Breakfast. They list discounts and specials on Facebook: www.facebook.com/ArchHouseGuesthouse/
You can’t tell in the photo, but the grass was full of bunnies.
