We own two timeshare weeks on Hilton Head Island, Bluewater and Carolina Club. They are both by Spinnaker Resorts.
This is a Bluewater two-bedroom.
Come delight in the beauty of the Intracoastal Waterway and savor stunning sunsets from the dock at Bluewater Resort & Marina. This Spinnaker Premier luxury vacation resort has something for everyone, from water and nature lovers to golfers and loungers. Bluewater’s private dock provides an experience that no other Hilton Head timeshare resort offers.
One of the two-bedroom units. They are different, but similar.
This is the front bedroom.
Both bedrooms have a deep soaking tub and a shower.
This is the view from the front bedroom. The building is the clubhouse. It has an indoor pool, sauna, weight and exercise room and some rooms where they do crafts and things. There is also a little library. There is usually an alligator or two in the lagoon. There are also a lot of jumping mullet fish and some turtles sunning.
Beyond you can see another swimming pool. It has a hot jacuzzi.
These one, two and three bedroom Key West style units are complete with fully equipped kitchens with granite countertops and sit up bars, spacious dining and living areas with entertainment centers and balcony walkouts and bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms (some bedrooms have private balcony walkouts). All units have washer/dryer.
I’ve never been in one without all the amenities that it says are optional.
This is the view from the other bedroom and from the balcony. This pool has a lazy river. You ride on a tube as it goes around. In the curve there are jets, like a jacuzzi, but not hot. There are plenty of tables and chairs. Each unit comes with plastic glasses, so you can bring drinks out to the pool.
This is the walk to the dock early in the morning. On the way you pass tennis courts, basketball courts, shuffleboard, some swings and a pavilion with grills. There are more grills closer to each building.
The dock is beautiful in the morning.
There are plenty of chairs. This is where they store the kayaks, too. Some time shares come with bikes. This one comes with kayaks.
That is Hudson’s Seafood restaurant. The shrimp boat was getting ready to go out.
This is the floating dock. This is where you put kayaks in.
Even when it is really hot out, there is a nice breeze on the dock. There is also a pavilion for some shade.
A group of kayakers are coming in.
They make it really easy to get in and out of the kayaks. Just pull into the little slip and stabilize with the bars as you slide out.
There is a sign on the dock to warn about manatees. We called them sea cows. They lived near our house in Florida. I had no idea they got this far north, but they do. Manatees have been seen as far north as Cape Cod. One was seen by, and in Narragansett Bay by New York City. But, Hilton Head Island is usually as far north as they go.
