Every time we bring guests with us to Hilton Head, they spend a lot of time shopping. We don’t think we do, but we always come home with a lot more loot than we started out with.
Tanger Outlets near Hilton Head Island
There are two Tanger Outlet Malls off island near Hilton Head.
Tommy Bahama, Le Creuset, Bath & Body Works, Talbots Woman, Oakley, Soma, New Balance, Famous Footwear, The Children’s Place and the place to pick up the coupon book are all in this row of factory outlet stores. The bathroom is next to New Balance, down a hallway on the right.
They have shady walk ways. Also good for staying out of the rain.
Straight across is Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store, J.Crew Crewcuts, Sunglass Hut, Hanes factory outlet store, Talbots Outlet, Kay Jewelers, Michael Kors, True Religion Outlet, Van Heusen, Izod, Kate Spade and another bathroom between J Crew and Sunglass Hut.
There is plenty of parking.

This is the map of Tanger 1, the first outlet mall you pass. It is the smaller of the two, but has the Talbots Outlet.
Lane Bryant Outlet, Jockey, Levi’s Outlet, Kitchen Collection, Adidas, Bare Minerals Outlet (the bathroom is behind this), Cole Haan Outlet, Brooks Brothers Factory Store, Chico’s Outlet, White House Black Market, Nine West, Tommy Hilfiger and Under Armour are all in this row of factory outlet stores. – Tanger Outlets near Hilton Head Island
Before you shop, drop in to the little Shoppers Services office to pick up a coupon book. It’s in the corner between Lane Bryant Outlet and the Children’s Place. Sometimes you have to show them an AARP or AAA card. Sometimes it is a small donation to a cause. If you or the people you are with shop at all, this is a good deal.

Star Struck’s DIAMOND DUAL PRO identifies diamonds, Moissanite and White Sapphire with its easy one-touch test. The tester is equipped with indicator LED lights and an audible signal that will identify your stone(s) with ease. It’s retractable tip is resistant to bending and breaking and provides excellent contact for the most accurate readings.
That doesn’t really help. Basically, the metal tip at the end gets hot. When it touches a stone, it heats it and reads back how the heat passes through the stone. You can identify a stone by how it conducts heat. That way you can tell what kind of stone it is. There are also some testers that use electricity instead of heat. Cool!
The large building in front is all Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5th. Next to it is a Pandora store, Auntie Anne’s and the cleanest bathroom.
