There are a lot of thrift stores and consignment stores on and near Hilton Head Island. You’ve got to hit it right, but we have found some great things at The Litter Box.

The Litter Box Humane Society Thrift Store
The store is very easy to find. It is at 46 Old Wild Horse Road. Sometimes parking can be a problem, though.

Books and Everything Else
The name is not appealing. It is because The Litter Box supports the Hilton Head Humane Society.
The Litter Box is the Non-Profit Thrift Store. 100% of the proceeds support the great work being done daily by the HHHA.

Clothing, Collectibles, Cookware and More
The place doesn’t look like much from the front, but it keeps going. There are more rooms with just about everything.

Lamps and Lighting
There is a lot of lighting.

New arrival clothes, knickknacks and collectibles
And Cliff, my husband
There is another room I don’t have photos of here that has things for pets. We have replaced our dogs’ beds nearly every year. We also bought a ramp for old dogs to walk into the SUV. We got a portable dog play pen for my daughter’s dog.

Lots of Golf Clubs
All of the thrift stores on Hilton Head have golf clubs. We’ve gotten some really nice additions.

CDs, DVDs and Audio Books
We’ve found some good books on CD, but now our new vehicle only plays MP3s. Sad.

Lots of paintings and wall art
I’ve gotten some great paintings and mirrors.

Furniture
Every thrift store on the island is selling wardrobes that were converted into entertainment centers. With the flat screen TVs, every one is getting rid of them.
